St. Vitalis Reliquary

St. Vitalis is said to have been martyred under Nero in the first century. According to the church's guide book by Franz Zehetner, "The relics were a gift to the church from Empress Maria Theresa in the year 1765, and are the remains of a martyr from the Roman catacombs."
